During renewal you will need to input your name as listed on your driver's license and your proxy's name as listed on their driver's license. Proxies cannot be changed or assigned after signup is completed. Have your proxies name available during renewal if you would like to select a proxy. Each person will only be able to proxy for four other people. If you are a member, you can only pick up for yourself and four other people.
MEMBERSHIP DETAILS: One membership is allowed per person. Membership cannot be transferred, willed, sold or bartered to anyone else. The member name must be the name on the credit card used to make the purchase when beers and membership are purchased. You cannot purchase items under your login and membership using another person’s credit card. Please use the name on your credit card when purchasing your membership. Nicknames and alias names are not allowed during membership renewal.
BOTTLE RELEASES: We don’t promise a minimum or maximum number of bottles will be released each year. A production schedule will not be released. Once a bottle has been produced and bottled it will be posted for sale. Bottles and merchandise must be purchased within the specified sale window. If you do not purchase during that window, you will not have access to purchase that item after the sales window has closed. Bottles must be picked up with the pickup window. Pickup windows will be at least two weeks and, in some cases, may be longer. Pickup window including dates and times will be posted when you purchase your beer. Any bottles not picked up during the pickup window will be forfeited and not refunded. All bottles must be picked up at the Barrelworks building during pickup hours posted during bottle sale.
PROXIES: You may designate a proxy for your pickups. The proxy must be specified during membership renewal. Use the name on your proxy’s driver’s license during renewal. Proxies may not be changed during the year. Each person may pick up beer for themselves and four other people. A member can pick up items for five people maximum (their beer and 4 other members). A non-member may pick up for four people maximum (4 members). Members and proxies may be asked to show their driver’s license during pickup.
UNSOLD BOTTLES: If any bottles remain unpurchased the brewery reserves the right to handle the sale of those bottles at our discretion. This may include onsite sales, to-go sales, public release, etc.
MEMBERSHIP PARTIES: Membership parties will be for members only. Proxies and guests are not allowed at partied. We reserve the right to check IDs at the door. Dates for Member’s Parties will be communicated via email.
COMMUNICATION: All communication will be made via email. Emails will come from jessi@mainandmil..com, firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com. We use MailChimp and your email may get sent to spam or a promotions folder. A quick google search on MailChimp and your email server should allow you to ensure you are taking the right steps to receive the email. We are not responsible if you do not check these messages. Questions, clarification and complaints are to be made to these three emails ONLY. In 2020, we will not be using private messages and Facebook to communicate regarding membership issues. PMs will NOT be answered. We also will not have a Facebook group next year. Again, please use email not NOT Facebook next year to communicate. Please be sure that you enter your preferred and correct email address during renewal. I highly suggest against using a work email as employers change and you will miss our on pertinent information. We are not responsible for any communication received via email that you did not read and act on.
RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION: We are inviting you to be a part of our membership club and ask for a few basic items in return. If you have an issue or complaint, handle this directly to the brewery without making a derogatory post on social media or other avenues. Blatant disrespect, disregard or rude actions and/or comments are not tolerated. Always treat all staff and volunteers with respect. Handle yourself in a way that represents our brewery and membership in an honorable fashion. We are not saying that issues and problems will not happen, but we are stating that they need to be handled with us directly before blasting on social media.
REMOVAL OF MEMBERSHIP PRIVELEDGES: Any violation of any of these rights and responsibilities may result of revocation of membership at any time. We may choose to provide a warning or to revoke membership without warning. If membership is revoked, the membership fee will be refunded at a prorated amount. We may also choose to not let members renew due to poor conduct or violation of these rules. Just be a good human and we will all be fine.
Terms and Renewal: 2020 Membership is for the period from 1/1/2020 to 12/31/2020. Membership renewal for 2021 will begin in October of 2020.
